Las Piñas – Barasoain Church – Las Piñas

By robyngente, October 22, 2014

Our trip to Barasoain Church in Malolos Bulacan is one of CCC‘s 100k+ rides.

Barasoain Church also known as Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church is one of the oldest churches near the metro that has significant historical value attached to it. This was the site of the First Philippine Congress, the Malolos Constitution was drafted here and the inauguration of the First Philippine Republic. Two presidents were also proclaimed in this historical place, Emilio Aguinaldo and Joseph Estrada.

CCC’s Sunday ride of Oct 19, 2014 was supposed to be a Sisig Ride to Pampanga with a total of 19 bikers. It should have been a 200k+ ride but due to unforeseen circumstances 6 of us decided to cut it short and just visit the church. 4 Centurions managed to complete the 200k Sisig Ride while the rest did bimodal on their way back to Las Piñas. Kudos to you Centurions!!!

Here are some of the highlights of our ride.
